The Rio de Janeiro Iate Club hosted the second edition of the Spearfishing World Cup of Clubs in March 2024. The event, created by CMAS ( Confédération Mondiale Des Activités Subaquatiques) and organized by APPS (Associação Paulista de Pesca Sub), brought together clubs from around the world in a competition unprecedented in the history of the sport.
